ILLUSIONS of PARADISE You utter all those words just right Trying to convince me of paradise That could be between the you and I But I have learned and no better Than to believe the illusion of paradise Because thats all it ends up being An illusion like a dream that will never come true Chasing after something that will never come...... Im all done living within an illusion You better bring the real thing to the table No more believing in the paradise Of the words you speak In the phone conversations And the emails that you write I will not fall for your illusion to paradise You need to stop being so scared And take the leap that you know you should The one in the real world and off here Because I wont settle for illusions on here anymore..... Some day I will meet someone who is willing To give me that paradise for real Eliminate the illusion that I always see But the question is when will I know That it is not an illusion or for real That is what always causes me so much confusion It could be staring me right in the face And I may over look it and let it pass me by All I k now it that I dont want anymore Illusions of paradise.....
