Cathay is the best cinema

hehz, it's Cathay's 70th bday yesterday! got free movie tickets! thanx to gp who went to Causeway point early in the morning to help us queue for tics.. keke, too bad for him thathe stay so near there.. anyway, he bought lotsa Straits Times (got the coupon inside)in order to exchange for 7 pairs of tics.. two pairs for me and shihui, woohoo~ We watched "Be with you" and "War of the worlds" back to back! To my surprise, "Be" is so much better than i thought.. meaningful and poignant love story.. a very beautiful story with a beautiful twist, highly recommended!!! i dun usually watch movies about romance cos' i'm simply not interested (more into horror and war shows) so i'm really glad that shihui wanted to watch it.. hehe, my first movie marathon.. "War" was negligible.. think it'll soon fall into oblivion.. the beginning was the usual hollywood special effects and stuff, not so bad.. but once the alien machines started sucking human blood, i was totally turned off *roll eyes.. why would the so-called intellectual and high-tech machines need to suck something as primitive as human blood? duh. then the ending is also quite abrupt, maybe cos' it'ssuch asimple end to the disaster.. but i like the documentary-style of the movie. Anyways, i broke my no-shopping rule. i bought this pair of classy U.R.S shoes at 40% discount, yay! have been eyeing it since dunno when.. so now it's only abt 24 bucks..oh, now that i mention shopping, i also bought an edgypair of dusty-pink knee lengthberms that is so in now, :)my mum paid for it, heh.. ah shit, jus realised i bought more stuff but decided againstlisting them out so as not to make me feel guilty. met up with audrey and salene today.. funny pair :P It's always comfortable hanging out with them. we had a simple dinner at Scotts foodcourt and then dessert at Plaza Sing's secret recipe.. had wanted to go Gelare for my free coffee (UOB campus card, hee) but there're so many pple there, hmpt, and the waiters dunno how to allocate seats so ya, we ended up having yummy cheesecakes and iced chocolate. Gonna go to this salon at redhill with shihui tmr to dye my hair, yipee! Dye, highlight, cut and treatment for $59, woohoo~ hope it's good.
